Matthew Frye is quite correct. 'Variations' only applies to Doubles (Decision (D)C2). Even so, there are previous members of the Methods committee who believe that these are abomination and associate them with the anti-christ. However, since 'calls are not part of the method', the composition, for a peal, could be noted as a 'Pinks Variation'. Robin
