Hello Alex,
Earlier this year I came up with a 20-part myself which appears to be
identical to your own (and has recently been published on ringing.org).
Originally I composed it as an exact 5-part (my no. 12a) and then rearranged
it into the irregular 4-part format which you have also chosen (my no. 12b).
Whether we are the first to come up with a 20-part, I cannot say.
There certainly seem to be loads of Grands-Trips compos which have never
been published on the internet and remain confined only to their original
Ringing World editions.
On this website- http://www.ringcam.org/?q=node/22 - there is a so-called
'20-part' by Lindoff but it is actually a split-up 10-part.

Like Alex, I would also be keenly interested if anybody knew of any 'real'
20-parts which have been composed prior to this year.
