Most arguments (as I said recently on r-c) are about definitions.  If
you define changes of method like MBD, then he is right.  If you define
them like everyone else, then he is wrong.

What is important (and this spills into all areas of discourse) is that
people are talking about the same thing.  It is all too easy to
manufacture what is essentially a bogus argument simply by defining
something differently from others.
