Yes, this is true to an extent. However, as we're dealing with quarter peal lengths, the falseness isn't so much of an issue as it would be with longer lengths. It's possible to get musical comps out of methods with a fair bit of falseness.

This seems a sensible approach, and one I'd considered previously. From the results of the searches I've done so far a reasonable starting point would be to look for combinations that a) generate runs in the plain course or b) generate runs in the megatittums course.
