Hi All,

Since I seem to have been the one who started this, but many years ago it seems, I will content myself with the following observations:

i) I wrote a set of programs in BASIC at least 26 years ago for Segar's method - I used them only this morning.
ii) I wrote another set of programs in c2000 - in BASIC - for what might be called Leary's method
iii) This is a theory line, so it is likely to be of more interest as to why something is so, than actually doing it - i.e., there are many programs out there which will do it.

I do not repeat my arguments for deprecating Hodgson's & Wilson's method.

Best wishes
Robin
