Except it isn't, and that's not how change-ringing came about. I favour 
a view of change-ringing that embraces and celebrates its history. Yes 
we have a modern outlook on the art, but no, we don't want to lose the 
spirit of the change. From quarter to half to full wheel: it's all about 
the changing bells.
