The choice of terminology doesn't matter in this forum, no. However 
whatever you call it, I am concerned that the wider ringing population 
will in general be very suspicious of the identity change, and not wish 
to (a) ring it, or (b) consider peals with it in to be peals. If so, I'd 
be on their side (to the extent as explained more thoroughly in my last 
email).
