I've been part of a band that's rung them on a practice night. You
just need to agree to that pattern that you're going to ring, and the
frequency with which you're going to change. In my limited experience
I think it actually improved the striking, as everyone was
concentrating much harder than several members of the band would
normally do when ringing call changes.
