I wrote:

On re-reading, this is ambiguous and misleading to a third-party reader. In
reality I have numbered every course-head (0..719 for major) and when I
wrote "store its image course" above I really meant "store its image course
number" - in other words I have an array (table) that can be used as a
lookup.

 

Must try harder.
