Aren't there quite a few methods and principles based on this idea already 
listed on Philip's site? I thought we came up with many of the useful 
variations on this theme a while back. Double Cambridge Cyclic, Flada, 
etc. - aren't there some principles there too?

About time some more of these were rung, and not just invented...
