"Council Rule 4(ii)(d) requires affiliated societies to abide by the
Rules &
Decisions. Does this suggest that the CUG & OUS should be thrown out?"

Bring it on!

"Perhaps PJE could favour us with a document on his thoughts on the
Decisions?"

I could, but the 'document' is brown and currently lurking in a u-tube
somewhere.

My views are well documented.

Now instead of having arguments about irrelevant decisions, can we have
some proper ringing theory for a change? Reading the online version of
Tintinnalogia, it's very interesting to see how the 'algorithm' of plain
changes is introduced as an iterative way of generating the extent on n
bells.

What other, more dynamic, ways would people use to do the same thing?
