Dear all,
This Saturday will be the first in a series of sessions which will take
place on the 2nd and 5th Saturdays of the month where we will concentrate
on learning Plain Hunt. This session will be focused on Plain Hunt Doubles
and future sessions will also look at Plain Hunt Minor. In this session we
will also be looking at safety:
*10:00 to 10:30* - How to control a rope you are in charge of if you feel
you are losing control and how to take a rope off another ringer when
necessary. It will be entirely up to you if you want to take part in these
exercises.
*10:30 to 13:00* - We will be looking at and ringing Plain Hunt Doubles
with ringing for those who would like to learn Plain Hunt from scratch, for
those who want to ring Plain Hunt from different bells, and those who want
to tenor behind.
This is a Drop In session so please do not feel you have to come for the
whole three hours. There will be tea and coffee to keep everyone going.
Please let me know if you intend to come along to this session by emailing
strethamrec at elyda.org.uk and I will send you some diagrams which you may
find of use to look at beforehand.
Learners are asked for a donation of £2 per session.
*If you are able to attend this session as a teacher or support ringer for
part or all of the session please let me know by emailing: *
strethamrec at elyda.org.uk Your help is very much appreciated.
Please *DO NOT* send a reply to the stretham-rec at lists.beasts.org unless
you want to send a message to everyone on the mailing list.
