Hi all,
If you would like to come along to the REC this Saturday 28 May for
individual bell handling training between 10:00 to 12:15, please let me
know by emailing strethamrec at elyda.org.uk so we can organise times and
teachers.
Beginners band practice will start at 12:15. It is helpful if you can let
me know if you will be coming along for this so we can tailor the practice
to what people would like to ring. Support ringers and students are very
welcome to join us.
Students are asked for a donation of £3 per session.
*Plain Bob Doubles Workshop - Saturday 28 May - 2:30 to 4:30pm*
Our next workshop at the REC is for ringers wanting to be able to ring
Plain Bob Doubles. The workshop will start with the theory and structure of
the method. This will be followed by practical sessions (ringing with
experienced ringers) where the different parts of the method are put
together until ringing a full plain course is achieved. If time allows the
workshop will look into the theory and practical aspects of ringing a touch
of Plain Bob Doubles.
Ringers must be able to ring Plain Hunt on at least two different inside
bells. The workshop will cost £5.00 which includes information sheets and
refreshments.
Please contact strethamrec at elyda.org.uk <strthamrec at elyda.org.uk> to book a
place.
