[Stretham-rec] Stretham REC Ringing Sessions Saturday 9th September 2022 Update

We are very sorry to hear of the death of HRH Queen Elizabeth II. Church bells are being rung half muffled (including St James, Stretham) at 12 Noon today in thanksgiving for her life.

 

On Saturday 9th September, St James PCC are happy for us to go ahead with our normal REC sessions. So, from 10.00am to 12.15pm sessions will run for those ringers who have made a booking, with the bells tied an no sound. 

At 12.15pm will have our usual group practice, with the bells half-muffled on the simulator. 

 

I appreciate that some ringers will not wish or now be unable to attend tomorrow, which we fully understand.
