[Stretham-rec] Stretham Bell handling & Information (16th December)

Dear all,

Please note this is the last session of the year!

If you would like to come along to the REC this Saturday 16th December for
individual bell handling training at 10:00 or 10.45, please let me know by
emailing  strethamrec at elyda.org.uk  on or before Wednesday 13th December so
we can organise times and teachers. I will try to fulfil all requests, and
confirm the times by email on Thursday.
Should you need to cancel your session please email me at your earliest
convenience so we can fill your space however if you have to cancel at late
notice i.e Friday/Saturday please email rato at elyda.org.uk
🔔 Band practice this week is *Part 2 of Learning to Plain Hunt* and will start
at 11.30 am. If you can let me know if you will be coming along for this
that would be helpful. Support ringers are very welcome to join us. Students
are asked for a donation of £3 per session.
We will resume teaching sessions again in the new year on 13th January
2024.
Saturday 6th January is the Annual District Meeting at Histon 3pm-7:30pm
all welcome.

Ringers attending Stretham REC from now on will see a 'STEP donations' box
next to the normal REC £3/session donations box. We want everyone to be
aware that the Stretham Tower Enhancement Project (STEP) has now been
launched. The aims of the project are listed here (
https://www.elyda.org.uk/learning-and-teaching/strethamrec/step) but
suffice it to say they are all designed to make everyone's experience of
learning to ring at Stretham much more pleasurable. We hope you will feel
able to donate to STEP in addition at some point!
