[Stretham-rec] Stretham REC, Saturday 25th November

Dear All

The Stretham REC is open as usual this Saturday 25th November. There will
be individual bell handling sessions at 10 am and 10.45 am only, then band
practice will start at 11.30 am.

If you would like to come along to the REC this Saturday 25th November for
individual bell handling training at 10:00 or 10.45, please let me know by
emailing  strethamrec at elyda.org.uk  on or before Wednesday 22nd November so
we can organise times and teachers. I will try to fulfil all requests, and
confirm the times by email on Thursday.

Beginners band practice will start at 11.30 am. It is helpful, but not
essential, if you can let me know if you will be coming along for this so
we can tailor the practice to what people would like to ring. Support
ringers and students are very welcome to join us.

Students are asked for a donation of £3 per session.

I should let you know that Louise Webber will be taking over as Stretham
REC Admin very soon, perhaps as early as later this week. It will be the
same mailing list and email address (strethamrec at elyda.org.uk) but emails
and replies will simply come from Louise instead of myself.

Ringers attending Stretham REC from now on will see a 'STEP donations' box
next to the normal REC £3/session donations box. We want everyone to be
aware that the Stretham Tower Enhancement Project (STEP) has now been
launched. The aims of the project are listed here (
https://www.elyda.org.uk/learning-and-teaching/strethamrec/step) but
suffice it to say they are all designed to make everyone's experience of
learning to ring at Stretham much more pleasurable. We hope you will feel
able to donate to STEP in addition at some point!
