[Stretham-rec] Stretham REC, Saturday 28th October.

Dear All

The Stretham REC is open as usual this Saturday 28th October. There will be
individual bell handling sessions at 10 am and 10.45 am only, then band
practice will start at 11.30 am.

If you would like to come along to the REC this Saturday 14th October for
individual bell handling training at 10:00 or 10.45, please let me know by
emailing  strethamrec at elyda.org.uk  on or before Wednesday 25th October so
we can organise times and teachers. I will try to fulfil all requests, and
confirm the times by email on Thursday.

Beginners band practice will start at 11.30 am. It is helpful, but not
essential, if you can let me know if you will be coming along for this so
we can tailor the practice to what people would like to ring. Support
ringers and students are very welcome to join us.

Students are asked for a donation of £3 per session.

Next week, Saturday 4th November,, the Ely District ringing meeting is at
St Mary & All Saints, Willingham from 10.30 am - 12.30 pm. There will be no
sessions at the Stretham REC, and all students are invited to come along to
Willingham where the Stretham REC teachers will be on hand to help and
advise. Willingham is a ground floor ring of 6. There will be refreshments
available during ringing and there are toilets in the church. Parking is on
the village streets outside the churchyard, please do not block driveways
or other access. For any more information, please just ask me or one of the
REC teachers.
