Bell recordings

I had a discussion with Andrew Wilby about this a week or so ago, and 
promised to write a paper on it for him, which I am in the process of 
doing.

There are lots of wrong ways to do this (based on the poor quality of 
some of the recordings I encouter!). It is possible to produce good 
recordings for very little (incremental) expenditure - my current set-
up cost me about $40 for a piece of shareware, which is not 
essential, I could have got away with doing it for free.

As soon as I have written the paper I will post it here.
