We do have plans and some - rather tantalising - details for the frames at =
Wrangle (as George says) and Bretforton, but what we don't know is the exac=
t design and shape of the cast iron sections.=20=20

For the Liverpool frame, the best source is Bryan McCahey's excellent littl=
e book "Peace and Good Neighbourhood" - probably the best account ever of t=
he bells of one tower, in this case St.Luke's Liverpool. I understand that=
copies are still available for =A314 from Merseyside Bell Restoration Grou=
p, c/o G.K. Austin, Cyprus Cottage, 32 Roby Road, Huyton, Liverpool, L36 4H=

It is correct. The frame seems to have been mixed, ie bells 1,2,5 & 6 wer=
e
in cast iron side frames on a wooden grillage & 3 & 4 in all wood (see
Lincolnshire Bells & Bellfounders p253/4 & 298). Liverpool is dated 1828
(see Pickfords Bellframe, a practical guide....p6).
The six bell frame at Wainfleet S Mary at 1844 seems to be a candidate fo=
r
the earlist WORKING frame.
