I noticed that some in my party found it very difficult to modify 
their ringing style into "Chariots of Fire" slow motion and were 
pushing up the rope to try to get the bell turn faster!

Nice bell - best ring of one I've ever visited! Pity it does not 
have 7 trebles as friends! I was told that the church was offered two 
tons of bell metal, either as a ring of 6 or single bell and the 
church authorities chose the latter option!
