I've just checked the ARCHON website - maintained by the Historical Manuscripts Commission - and there are two references to Lukis

See http://www.hmc.gov.uk/nra/searches/PIdocs.asp?P=18055

Also checked for details of repositories in the Channel Islands. Nothing definite to say the Lukis papers are there, but look at http://www.hmc.gov.uk/archon/searches/locresult.asp?lctry=Channel%20Islands

I have been told that Lukis' archives are held at the Guernsey Record
office. Is this correct, and if not, where are they?
