The counterbalance has recently been removed from the tenor clapper at Bow, & 
the result is that the bell is a lot quieter than it used to be.

Wells Cathedral tenor clapper is an E&S SG product (Non counterbalanced) and 
has been going strong for (15+ years). Personally my vote would be to go for 
EN16 - is it really heavier than SG?
