Was there any connection with the Rudhalls? [Surely not.]

I ask this latter as William Evans' foundry mark 'W (bell) E' was laid out
similarly to that used by several of the Rudhalls - 'A (bell) R' [As was
the case with no end of other founders, e.g. the Thomas Penningtons and
Richard Purdue I to name but two.]
