Pretty sure that the Port Sunlight job in 1951 was just a rehang - a
gudgeons and bearings job? - that didn't involve retuning, but would
welcome clarification.

Dear all,
G&J did some work on Port Sunlight bells in 1951 (they are 1904 Mears
bells), including retuning and rehanging. Were they doing all of this
work themselves at the time? I'm no headstock expert, but they are
pretty hefty for the weight of tenor (14-1-25) - what is the background
to this?
