The former treble of 5 was indeed by L & J, 1887. It was recorded by J R 
Jerram (MS now in Salisbury Library) and also mentioned in one of L & J's
catalogues, but clearly not the one David Cawley has.

When Mears added a treble to make 6 and recast the old treble of 5, a new
iron frame was put in by Harry Stokes of Woodbury (1902). Clearly all this
went when Taylors put in the present frame in 1956.
