I've been gradually assembling information on clock chimes for some time, a=
nd passed some details to Mike for the "chimes list" - but there's still lo=
ts of work to do.
The Liverpool University bells are by Taylor 1892 - weights 7-1-17, 10-0-4,=
13-2-10, 29-3-21 and 45-1-23.
Does anyone have details of the clock chime at the Carnegie Library at Batl=
ey, Yorkshire. I'd be keen to know the date of the Warner hour bell (53.87=
5") for which Taylors and Potts supplied four quarter bells (largest 10-3-4=
) in 1906.

Many thanks! I suspect that the list of actual chimes is relatively=20
accurate, but clock chimes will be very sketchy as only 5 bells and=20
above made it into Dove. Please let me know of any chimes\clock=20
chimes that have at least 4 bells that do not appear on the list. I=20
am especially interested on those that have been lost prior to the=20
first edition of Dove, or that never made it in any edition.
Mike
PS I hope the beer was good! On Tuesday the local "apres-ring" pub=20
had run out of Green King IPA and had to replace it with Old Hooky -=20
shame!
