"I gather East Ardsley and Godshill are also good."
I've only rung at Godshill once and they struck me as being quite ordinary -
which probably puts them on the the goodish L&J list. East Ardsley have
something about them but I was more fond of the sound before the recent
rehang - saying that the go was getting so bad that you couldn't really ring
them properly!
When did they cast their last bell? Ilfracombe trebles at 1923 must be
lateish.
