I was wondering what the best timber tratment for timber frames is.


On the suggestion of Taylors we use raw linseed oil diluted with turps, at
HT, Bradford on Avon. The treatment is repeated every 5 years, and has a
bonus in that it greatly reduces the flies that congregate in the tower in
the autumn
