Yes, because most people who have studied bells will know what a Doncaster
Head is. There will be no confusion about what it looks like. The term
'Doncaster Canons', on the other hand, is sometimes used to describe a
Doncaster Head, and sometimes to describe ordinary angular canons, and
unless you've seen the bell or have knowledge of what is likely in view of
the founder and date it isn't clear which is meant.
