to be the treble of the first set, or a replacement bell."

The 2nd of the 1844 bells was 4-1-26, so it is not beyond the realms of
possibility that this could be the second. It is a shame the WBF Daybooks
didn't record the diameters of these bells. The weight loss can be explained
by the 1921 tuning. I don't think G&J recorded the weight of the bell on
receipt.
