Chobham, Surrey, Westcroft Private Estate 23 15-0-26 in F#, likewise
reduced to a clock chime upon the death of the owner

In the Gillett and Johnston catalogue of c1930 there is a picture of a
rustic building with a clock tower and bells - "Chime of 18 bells on a
country estate" but there are no 18s listed in the chimes page - anyone know
where it was?

Five bells were supplied to an "S Fox" of Harrogate by Gilletts in 1888/90.
They hung in a stable clock tower in High Harrogate. They have since been
removed and I believe they are in the possesion of Eric Robinson of Ossett.
He has said that he believes there were more bells originally - anyone know
anything about them?
Andrew
