Can't help with the bells at either of these, but can report that stained g=
lass (by Kempe, of the 1890s) from St.Michael's, Bongate, Appleby, is now a=
t All Saints, Leighton Buzzard, Beds. It was placed there in the early 1990=
s - evidently after Bongate church had been converted to residential use

Has anyone any info on "the peal of four bells" at Crathie Kirk(which=20
is frequently used by members of the royal family?
Also, the chime of tubes at Appleby(Bongate)-is the church the one=20
with a tower but without a clock? If so then the tubes may well have=20
gone as the building has been converted into what looks like a=20
dwelling-where the louvres used to be in place there are now windows=20
with curtains in them.
