Thanks for Lancashire suggestions so far - all worth exploring, but not looking promising. Singleton is out - a T Mears six of 1811 according to Cheetham. St.Anne's on Sea possible, but only if the Blews bells preceded what's there now - a Taylor 8 of 1890 at the parish church (St.Anne), and a Taylor clock chime of 1913 at St.Thomas. Any more ideas or info?
Trowbridge - yes, thanks. Newspaper reference already noted from Anne's "Heard but not seen" book about Bradford on Avon parish church, where Blews recast a bell in 1870.
