I seem to recall that the G+J eight at Brookefield Unitarian,Gorton,
Mabchester have springs (or had them in the 1980s when we pealed them)
I am under the understanding that Nelson, Lancs have rubber plugs
inserted into the clapper balls.
The tenor of the origonal Taylor eight at The Hillbrow Campanile,
Liss, Hants had one fitted when the bells were first hung and I think
the light ten at Bapton Lane,Exmouth have them fitted.
The last two places are private light rings.
