A personal plea

We had a "discussion" recently on the Nabbers list regarding the 
inclusion of previous messages in replies. Dickon said that Nabbers 
was the only list to which he is subscribed where members of that 
list habitually included all of previous messages in their reply. 
This seems to be creeping into Bell Historians.

Please only include parts of previous messages that are truly related 
to your own message and delete the rest. It is a bit of a pain for 
us digest readers to pick out the important points otherwise.
