Perrin & Charnley bell

The Perrin and Charnley bell was discussed recently. I recently took a
picture of it and have now had the film developed - I;ve put the picture on
the web at http://www.bryantd.fsnet.co.uk/pictures.htm

Presumably the coiled springs between the bell and its stand are to prevent
vibration being transmitted between bell and stand and afecting the
measurements which were taken.
