Isn't this comment patronising? Don't assume that because you have a
specialist archaeological interest that others' views aren't just as
valid. The RW's comments were written mainly by the founders. The
founders are in regular contact with the CCC and EH. More so than any of
us.

And to the CCC. I would recommend that anyone who does so should give
good reasons for their views. I expect they'll be getting a fair number
of letters from ringers who's views aren't based on anything except the
RW's scaremongering.
