Does anyone know where the bells are ( I guess France or Belgium ) that w=
ere given as a war memorial by Sir James Knott. I understand that they migh=
t be in a carillon at one of the war cemeteries. He also gave all 17 bells =
at St James & Basil, Fenham, Newcastle upon Tyne, as a memorial to his two=
sons although he only deemed it appropriate to hang 8 of them for ringing.=
