Sudbury

Just been looking at the excellent site of Suffolk Churches, and came across
an entry for All Saints, Sudbury at

Interestingly, towards the bottom is a photo of a bench-end with a depiction
of a bell on it. The caption states that this was because the pew was
reserved for bell ringers. Is this true, I wonder?

Does anybody know anything about the bells here? I seem to recall that
they're a heavy eight not rung any longer.
