Item Description: 
English church bells are a quintessential sound of rural life. You are bidding to have a peal rung in your name, to have a framed,commorative certificate and have your name recorded in the history books. If you wish you will also be eligible for a tour of the belfry and see the bells for yourself.

A full peal, on 8 bells, takes 8 experienced ringers around 3 hours to complete. There will be over 5,000 different "changes" and no 2 "changes" are the same. All peals are recorded and published in the Ringing World magazine.

This peal will be rung somewhere in the Bedfordshire/Buckinghamshire region and all monies raised will go to a charity specialising in the resotration and maintenance of this historic tradition.
