What I should have added was it seems to me that after 1850, generally, JT =
& Co used angular canons, radial & conventional, and flat heads. They (?) n=
ever used Doncaster heads.
JW & Sons used engular canons, conventional but not radial and Doncaster he=
ads; later and occasionally flat heads.
M&S used traditional conventional canons until taking Doncasters on board, =
eschewing angular canons or flat heads.
