"I had a look at the figures at JT today. It does not say where the tuning
cuts took place but ADH looked at the figures & thought there was a
possibility of it taking place outside in the light of what happened to the
fundamental compared with the nominal. A careful look at the bells
themselves might give more indication of external cuts."

I have looked carefully! The only external cutting is between the upper and
lower sets of moulding wires on the soundbow, and all six bells have been
cut in this manner.
