Single bell in Leicester

While on a brief visit to Leicester for a graduation ceremony I spotted a
single bell hanging from a simple wooden headstock in a bell turret on the
roof of a shop selling beds. The shop is at the corner of Ruding
Road/Narborough Road and the roof outline suggests the building was once a
Church. Is there anyone who may know of the history of this building and
the bell? From the ground it looked more than just a 'schoolbell'. The
shop would have no use for this bell and it could make the treble of a light
six!
