I'm not sure if 'extant' has a specific meaning in this context. Does it
mean they are still used or just that they are present? If only the
latter then, perhaps, the bells at Christ Church, Higher Bebington,
Wirral may be the newest ones still in regular use today. I heard them
only this week.

A minor (arithmetic) correction to my earlier response on this topic.
Yes, I was married there in 1968 but, having started ringing in Port
Sunlight in 1980, this was 12 years later not 22. It just seemed that
long - so blissful!

The latest date of casting I have is for Shaftesbury, Dorset, The 
Holy Name & St Edward the Martyr (RC), Salisbury Rd. 8 bells by Mears 
& Stainbank 1928. They are extant (CJND)
