its limit (can't remember what this is)."

The Drivel list had the same problem a short while ago when Yahoo imposed
archive limits. Some of the clever chaps on there managed to download the
archives pretty easily into a text file. If the the Drivel list is anything
to go by then I expect this list has hardly dented the memory available for
it (we have 5,896 messages minus the gems DJB has deleted from the archives;
Drivel has 95,426 messages and going strong).

Can Simon Farrar advise what was done on Drivel? ... assuming DJB doesn't
moderate him ;)
