An interesting one could have been the Harecroft ring, housed in 
a "tower" inside Michael Brown's barn. What would be the case if they 
could be heard in the barn, but not outside it?! Sadly, this 
argument falls down due to the fact that you can hear them outside. 
The one temporarily erected inside Salisbury Cathedral could have 
been another "problem" if they had been pealed.
