You do not infrequently find cases where bells have been removed from sets and swapped with others - because they are too flat, because a bell was quickly needed, or in some cases for no obvious reason! Studying the relevant entries from the foundry records can be of some help, but not always. There is one bell in the set at St Wilfrid's, York, which is not in sequence. The bell cast as part of the set (i.e. in sequence) went elsewhere (it's in Devon), but no reason for the exchange is clear.
