On the question of it not being historially significant, in organ
terms, it broke no new ground. Many other organs had carillons
(although weather they chime bells rather than plate bells or tubular
bells is not clear), many thousands have chimes, which is a standard
fixture on the theatre organ. It does not have any other new
features.

An example of something which would warrant it being considered
historically significant would be

Derby Cathedral Organ (1939-John Compton & Co)
This was the first organ to have light up stops.
