There is quite a bit of incision in Wiltshire, if you follow my meaning.
All on old(ish) Whitechapel bells. For instance at Broad Hinton and Semley,
and the entire inscriptions on two bells out of the original five at
Alderton. At Coombe Bissett the vicar's name omitted at the time of casting
had to be added on the second (1896). All high-quality work, especially the
gothic lettering at Alderton (1843).
