Incidentally, are there known scrapping weights for the old ring at
Worcester Cathedral?
David
Yes - if I may make so bold as to act as CJP's secretary again, the
scrapping weights from 1928 are:
1 6-3-13 (6-3-16), 2 7-0-17 (7-0-19), 3 7-2-4 (7-2-6), 4 8-2-21 (8-2-24), 4b
9-2-16 (9-2-19), 5 10-1-12 (10-1-14), 6 11-0-13 (11-0-16), 6b 11-0-24
(11-0-26), 7 11-3-19 (11-3-23), 8 15-1-19 (15-1-22), 8b 17-3-22 (17-3-25), 9
21-2-6 (21-2-9), 10 26-0-24 (26-0-27), 11 34-1-5 (34-1-8), 12 50-0-4
(50-0-7)
Nett weights, gross in brackets.
